Grand Jury: Earley Cleared of Any Charges
Fannin County Sheriff Deputy, Michael Earley was involved in a shooting that took place on Thanksgiving Day that left, citizen, Carl William Davenport dead.
Davenport was air lifted to Erlanger Medical Center. After remaining on life support for nearly a month, Davenport passed away.
The District Attorney's office made a special presentation to the Grand Jury in the case of Earley. The Grand Jury found no reason to investigate the case any further and has closed the case.
Michael Earley has been cleared of any charges. FYN received this news on good authority and has requested a copy of the grand jury presentation from the Clerk of Court and it will be available as soon as it is received.
